‘Flush’- Sebiji Padi Art Community, 12th -30th June 2015

G13 proudly presents `FLUSH!!’, a collective expression of contemporary paintings and sculptures that features Sebiji Padi art group which consists of Samsudin Wahab, Haslin Ismail, Azam Aris, Meor Saifulah Lulaed, Fadly Sabran, Syafiq Ali’am, Safwan Amad, Hery Zain and Hafiz Yusof. The works by Sebiji Padi group speaks of the local art scene and their responsibility as an artist to their environment and society

`FLUSH!! is a noble effort by Sebiji Padi art group to question the responsibility of an artist to the society through the artworks that they have created. They believe that an artist should behave according to a course of conduct. Hence, they have unanimously come up with a manifesto that serves as a guideline for their group members. ‘FLUSH!!’ will be featuring artworks ranges from paintings, collages to sculptures. One of the themes of this exhibition is interaction and experience. Feast your sense of smell to the pungent stench of ikan masin and asam keping artworks by Samsudin Wahab or embark on a new journey by experiencing Syafiq Ali’am’s walk-through door sculptures.
